Far East Horizon, a Top Tax Contributor in Shanghai
According to the newest announcement made by the Shanghai Tax Bureau of Shanghai’s top 100 taxpayers, International Far Eastern Leasing Co., Ltd. paid more than RMB 1.3 billion in tax in 2014, ranking No. 22 among tertiary industries, and coming in at No. 27 among industrial enterprises as a whole.
Looking back through history, 14 years have passed since Far East Horizon moved southward to Shanghai, and during that time, Far East Horizon has taken a giant leap in its development. The size of the company has grown from 11 people during the southward move to Shanghai to nearly 5000 by the end of 2014, and 13 offices have been established all over China (Beijing, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing, Kunming, Xi’an, Harbin, Changsha, Shenyang, Jinan and Zhengzhou), forming a nationwide customer service network. According to data from mid-2014, Far East Horizon’s profitability, size of assets and equity, asset quality and other indicators are at an optimum level. By the end of 2014, International Far Eastern Leasing’s investments in the real economy had totaled RMB 300 billion.
In 2014, International Far Eastern Leasing's tax contributions exceeded RMB 1.3 billion, representing a force of strength in the company’s contribution to social development, and demonstrating raised awareness of the company's brand and its gradual rise in social position. In the future, the company will follow the reform direction of the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, and continue to follow its "finance plus industry" development strategy to serve the real economy, promote financial markets, and contribute to the development transition of both Shanghai and China.
